Up here they call it "the shore," down south we call it "the beach," either way it's a fun place to go!!! We spent the entire day with Leslie(their mom), Ashley (17), Hayley (15), and Austin (10) at their awesome beach house in Long Beach Island, NJ. The house is really old, built around 1920 and it was just neat to be in. We enjoyed two wonderful meals with them and really enjoyed getting to know them. We are so grateful for their invitation! Paxton enjoyed his day SO much and really got along well with Austin. Leslie even took the 2 boys to play putt putt! The weather was kinda cruddy, chilly actually, but we made the most of the day and had a blast! Ky took a 3 1/2 hour nap in the playpen, which was awesome!
Today was an extremely productive day for me, I got our entire bedroom cleaned out, it had been filled with Paxton's toys. Dad and I finally agreed that his behavior had consistently improved enough to have a fresh start. I was thrilled to have my room back again, he was as thrilled to have his toys back!!! After the clean out, I did a deep clean and realized how disgusting my dog really is with all of his hair and slobber! I had to wash my curtains, windows, and let's not even talk about the floor and chair he lays in...YUCK! It's all pretty now though and I am very excited! I also got P's room all put back together and cleaned up nice, finally moved him back to his real bed, he has been sleeping on his futon couch for the longest time (he just wanted to). Got the couch set back up and his room looks good too.
Reading Rocks was awesome this afternoon, we had 27 kids present today and have almost 50 on our roster!!! I am really going to miss it the next 2 weeks, I am sad. I really love this program and enjoy every minute I work on it!
