Melissa is headed for Africa! Many of you may know Melissa, who is someone we have known since we moved here and she has even been down to Matthews on the teen mission trip! She and Kirsten were best friends too, and Melissa cared for our kids often, and still does.
I am writing to you to share her new journey to see if any of you feel inspired to help her. She recently graduated from college, and is seeking her place in life, as most college graduates are. On August 26 {yup, just a few weeks!}, she would love for that place to be Uganda, Africa for at least a few weeks!
Melissa shared her support letter with me awhile ago, and with our travels, I totally forgot to share with you It is totally my fault for the last minute sharing, NOT hers. She planned way ahead, I just forgot to share. Forgive me for sharing just weeks before she hopes to leave!
Can you help her serve the Lord in Africa? She has a blog set up to share more about her fund/prayer raising efforts.
