I LOVE Kids' Club!

I had a blast last night and for the first time ever I am actually sad that we have Family Night next Tuesday instead of Kids' Club! We got our new leader's shirts, you can see the back of ours above. The preteens got bright orange and the 5&6 year old leaders got lime green. They looked great and everyone seemed to like them.

I brought my camera last night and got some pictures of some of the new things we have at club. The biggest and best is definitely the mystery! We have now eliminated 3 leaders and the kids are SO into this! Trish is absolutely amazing with it and has blessed this ministry tremendously with her creativity!!
The kids are also seeming to enjoy the new "Creativity Clubhouse" where they do something different each time they go. Right now they are making penguin treats out of oreos and candy so of course they're happy! We have one more group to rotate through and then we will change the activity, probably a craft next time.
We had more kids than normal last night, close to 70 in our age group alone, we have been averaging 45-50 so that was a big jump with no advertising. It was awesome, the leaders I have right now are wonderful. I have several adults and teens who are truly committed and are making club great.
I am thankful that the Lord put it on my heart to pour into this ministry, it is proving to be one of the best decisions I have made and I am loving it. I am working more on my lessons and using the Bible story of the week as my own personal devotion time also and I am really learning a lot myself. This week I taught about King Solomon and even though I knew all of the facts, I had to relearn so much and I really enjoyed it. I LOVE teaching the kids and I truly love Kids' Club!

  2. I knew from the time you were a "very little girl" that God had given you many special talents and gifts and I am so proud that you have had the ability to use them in such a wonderfully fulfilling way. As a parent you couldn't be more proud of your child. I Love you.
