Reading Rocks started yesterday!!!!
We had a BIG change this year--the location!!! Let me just say GOD is so cool and knows what He is doing-imagine that! We knew we had to move out of the Hope House (which is now a personal property), and this led to much discussion and prayer to find the right place. Who would have known the Miracle House-where we house recovery meetings, would be the PERFECT place? My sweet husband offered up "his" house and has been so kind and selfless with his help to get us set up. As you can see below, it worked out wonderfully...
We are able to divide the kids between the floors, there's plenty of wide open space and it worked even better than the Hope House ever did!!!! It even connects to the church playground so we can surprise the kids some days with a play day!!!!
We were blessed with tons of preteen and teen helpers, which made the program run SO smoothly. I am also blessed with 3 great ladies who work with me all summer long: Trish, Shannon and Laurie-thanks gals!!!
Paxton LOVES reading Rocks, and I love that he gets to participate in something that I lead, it's cool. He often tells me he wishes I still led Kids' Club since he's in it now, but this is the next best thing!!!
