Prayer Pals Christmas

The ministry season for 2009 comes to a close each year with the final Christmas party of the year, Prayer Pals!  Trish and I do tons of work to prepare for this evening, which is basically 1 hour of excitement as the kids rip into the special gifts form their pals!  It is an honor to be a part of each year.  We are so blessed to have so many wonderful kids and adults from around the country who love them!
My sweet son is a Pal, and is so blessed by his awesome Prayer Pal, who he met years ago when his pal was here on a mission trip.  Even though Pax is a missionary kid, he benefits tremendously from his relationship with his pal!
Kirsten is now a Prayer Pal!!!  She got to meet her new pal tonight at the party, that was cool!  Kirsten is a kid from the neighborhood, now loving on another young girl growing up here.  How awesome is that?Hard to believe Kirsten is over half way through college, we are so proud of the woman she is becoming!  She is home with us until Jan 9 and we are enjoying our time with her!
