For the past two years I have been working on a project behind the scenes. God had really put on my heart to reorganize and to be more intentional with training men and women to work. To teach God’s people the biblical view of work and to help develop good work ethics within them. It has been tough to organize all of this and define how it would look as a ministry, but by the grace and guidance of the Lord we are moving forward!
On June 15, 2012 we officially opened up a new non-profit called “Productive Lives, Inc.” The purpose of this ministry is to develop Godly employees equipped and ready to enter the work field. Right now our means of employment is through our Thrift Store and through a janitorial service we offer. There is a three phase step process that a person will progress through in the program. We have plans to develop more future employment so please pray with us as we venture out in this faith project.
We have developed a simple website, which is still under construction, feel free to browse around for a bit more information, and even more will be there in the future.
Since I can’t put a business card in your hands at the moment, here’s a virtual card for you, in case you need any of this information ~
Thanks for your encouragement, support, and most of all, prayers.
