It seems that it has been a long two years since God has put the project of the Redemption House upon our hearts. Lately a lot of prayers have been answered. We are getting closer and closer to be ready to open up the house.
First the physical project of the house remodel is almost finished. We had a wonderful team from Matthews United Methodist Church join us last weekend to work on the house. Floors were put in and bathrooms completed. The kitchen now has cabinets. We are getting so close and the house is turning out beautiful.
These aren’t the greatest photos, but give you an idea of where we are at! We are so grateful to this recent work team and also the many others that have assisted us in getting to this point!!
Second prayer answered is a wonderful team of ladies is being formed to serve the Lord in women’s recovery ministry. I met with this wonderful group of women on Monday night and I am so excited. Their hearts are sold out for Jesus. They are going to take some time to study and prepare their hearts for the ministry before us focusing on discipleship. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they embark on this journey.
Lastly, it seems we may have some financing options for running the house. This has been one of the hardest parts. There are some organizations out there geared to help programs like ours. We are in progress of applying right now. Prayerfully it will all work out.
God is moving and we are excited. May all of our efforts be honoring and glorifying to our father. Thank you all for your support and prayers.
