to write yesterday and I regret it now!!! I had wanted to come home right after church and write about it, Jonerik preached and did an AMAZING job, I was so touched by his message. I will try to remember to go back to my notes and share a bit of what God spoke thorugh him, it was so great and what I (and so many others) needed to hear.
Tomorrow Reading Rocks begins and I am really excited! I prepared the Hope House yesterday and am just finishing up some last minute details tomorrow morning and then the program is from 2-3. We will have it Tues, Wed, and Thurs this summer. Trish leads Tues, I lead Thurs and we both lead Wed at the church (a special activity) together. I still don't know what the special activity is for this Wednesday, I will get to that tomorrow!!!
We have a youth group here from Ohio, Trish is leading them and says they are great, I only saw them for a bit on Sunday morning at church. They are leading a VBS at Franklin Playground and working with Frank from 2-5 in the afternoons. I think there's about 30 of them.
It is seriously scary how alike we are! Learning to prioritize (with kids now!) is a whole new ballgame for me! Sometimes it's difficult to give them that little extra kiss or hug or listening ear when they need it . . . when I have a long "to-do" list! But I am learning that things won't fall apart if I don't get to everything! I read your blog ALL the time and am so encouraged! Keep up everything you're doing and know that your labor for the Lord is not in vain.
