"Bye Daddy, Bye, Bye Bye, wuv you." And each afternoon, a similar image as the boys shower Daddy with welcome home kisses and hugs--as if they haven't seen him for days. It is really sweet how close these guys are, man I love them!My man is a good man, sometimes it is hard being married to such a good man. We are crazy busy around our house, getting ready for our presentation in Matthews on Sunday. We have been planning for months, but as usual, the nitty gritty of the prep is occurring this week as other stuff crept in over the past few months. Stuff is creeping in this week and it is my nature to tune it all out and focus. It is my husband's nature to be a man desiring to serve the Lord, no matter what he has on his agenda. I admire that in him, he inspires me to be better. Sometimes it frustrates me because we are so different, but overall it is a quality in him that I adore and admire. With his Power Point looming over his head still, he is on his way out the door to help a good friend work on his house for the next several hours. It is more important to my husband to be a good friend than to complete the to-do list. The list will get done, even if he has to stay up all night the next 3 nights. God will provide the time, somehow, he knows that.
On Friday we will be spending the day in court with Netta, Angie and Xena again. The trials are a private matter, I don't want to share details, but I will say this is going to be a very difficult day for all of us. Please pray for peace and for justice. There are a few men who need to spend MANY years behind bars for the sins they have committed.
We will head down to NC early Sat morning, and I know somehow we will be prepared to go, God will pave the way. I just pray we don't all drive each other totally nuts before then!!!
I know this friend truly appreciates the help your husband is leanding mine! Our house would be falling down around us if it weren't for his help! Thanks for your sacrifice!
