Our little paradise

I must admit, I LOVE our little, teeny-tiny backyard. I thought I would miss our gorgeously landscaped, natural backyard at our old house, but I honestly don't (not that much at least). Now that Ky is old enough to play outside and be a *boy* I am learning that having a small enclosed backyard is actually a good thing. We have everything they need back there and they have a blast being boys. Each night I bring them in and the bathwater is disgusting, a tell-tale sign that they are doing an excellent job with their job of enjoying boyhood.

Here's some pics from the past 2 days of my guys enjoying their little outdoor paradise...

A place to be silly...A place to invent new games together... A place to watch their favorite celebrity (our neighbor Jim)... **imagine Ky screaming "Hi Jim, Hi Jim, Hi Jim..."
And it only takes a few minutes to mow the yard!A place to dig in the dirt...Find lovely creatures (some type of ____pede I think)...A place where you always have an audience...You always have someone to show your worms too...And you can make Deja grin from ear to ear when you put a few worms in her jar for her...I wouldn't trade our life, our yard, our home...for anything. I love it here for so many reasons. This is home. Our little slice of paradise in the heart of the concrete jungle :).
