Many of you know Kirsten, the young lady who used to live with us.
For those of you who don’t, here’s the very brief version…
We met her when she was 14 {when we moved here}, she moved in with us when she was 16 {for various reasons} and we became her temporary legal guardians. She lived with us until she went on to college at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC… where she is currently. We still consider her a part of our family and always will!
Kirsten is following the Lord in a BIG way and is growing up into a beautiful woman with a huge heart for the Lord. She is going on her first international mission trip to Nicaragua in just a few short weeks! You can read more about her upcoming trip from her, here on her blog.
She of course, is raising financial support for this trip. She needs to raise a bit over half of her required amount still. Total is $1200, she still needs to raise a bit over $600. If you feel led to support her in prayer or finances we will be so grateful, we are so proud of our “daughter” and know what a leap of faith it is to raise support for mission work! ;-).
