It was a wonderful first day to an amazing event! We arrived to set up around 3:00 and then enjoyed orientation, a rehearsal {for the kick off service} and an awesome dinner. The kick off service began at 6:30 and Frank and I spent our evening speaking to groups of children about our life as missionaries. After the service we were in the gym at our tables talking with all sorts of people. It was wonderful!
The coolest part of my day and evening was getting to meet other missionaries and learn about other ministries. We are usually the missionaries, so to be one of many was very exciting for me.
