Reading Rocks began today and it was wonderful!!! I am so excited about this summer!! We have made many changes to the program and this is our first summer without interns leading it. What a blessing it is to have a team of women I love dearly in leadership with me: Trish, Shannon, and Laurie. I just know this will be the best summer yet! We also have tons of (wonderful) younger teens volunteering, many who are God's Girls. Today is the most chaotic day of the summer and it went great!!!! We had 22 kids there, which is great for the 1st day! More will join us with each passing week. I will share more about the program itself as the weeks pass!
