We have enjoyed the company of some wonderful guys the past few days! A big thank you to Brad, Ben, Wayne, Phil and Doug (my Dad!!) for serving with us this week. This was a fun trip because they stayed at the Hope House, which is right next door to us, so we got to spend lots of free time with them. They ate with us at our house for 2 nights and they took us out to Applebees tonight. Brad (who is a pastor from our home church MUMC), has also spent the late evenings with us over hereat our house and we have really enjoyed our time with him. My boys have loved having these guys around, and will certainly miss them!
The sad news is that Ben (in the chair) had a pretty bad fall off of scaffolding today and fractured his knee, please pray for quick healing.
The guys put up dry wall in the church sanctuary and also repaired (replaced) a few windows in the Hope House-2 jobs that really needed to be done and were extremely helpful! They also got to go to
God Squad and
Kids' Club.
We also enjoyed getting Pastor Brad on the Wii one night...
